The new homebase for employees to find resources and support to succeed at Northeastern.
The Employee Hub launched quietly in 2022 as the new digital home base for Northeastern’s global workforce. Any Northeastern employee can start leveraging all of its features and benefits today. Just visit me.northeastern.edu and log in using your Northeastern employee username and password.
A few of the things that employees can do and personalize in the Employee Hub include:
- View and manage the workday using Outlook calendar, Microsoft Planner tasks, and To-do lists.
- Access files and messages with Microsoft productivity tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Visit commonly used applications such as Workday, Canvas, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Grow and learn with LinkedIn Learning, which provides free access to thousands of video courses.
- Keep track of open support and service tickets with IT Services and HR (Human Resources).
- Discover and stay connected to colleagues, communities, and news across the university.
- Find and favorite myNortheastern services and links in the Resources section of the Hub.

What is the Employee Hub?
The Employee Hub is a new, dynamic, and personalized digital home base for Northeastern employees. The Hub provides quicker, easier access to a number of productivity tools and other resources that many Northeastern employees need on a regular basis.
Where is the Employee Hub?
The Employee Hub is available via web browser. Access it from any device by going to me.northeastern.edu and signing in with employee credentials.
Is the Employee Hub replacing the myNortheastern portal?
The Employee Hub replaces and builds upon the myNortheastern portal. Employees can find all the services and links from the myNortheastern portal on the Resources section of the Hub, but that’s just a small part of what the Hub is. Employees are encouraged to start transitioning to the Hub for their day-to-day needs.
How was the Employee Hub created?
The Employee Hub is an expansion of the Hubs platform that launched in fall 2020 with the Student Hub. Early in the development of the Employee Hub, IT Services and Human Resources partnered to imagine and design a digital experience tailored for Northeastern employees. In addition, a working group of employees representing various roles and departments across the university contributed feedback, ideas, and suggestions as part of the design process.
What information and resources can be found on the Employee Hub?
The Hub makes it easy to view and manage one’s day and work using the Microsoft productivity tools; to access commonly used applications such as Workday, Canvas, and Adobe Creative Cloud; to grow and learn with LinkedIn Learning; and to keep track of active support and service tickets with IT Services and HR services. Use the social aspects of the Hub to stay connected to colleagues, communities, and news across the university. The Employee Hub will continue to evolve to meet the needs of Northeastern’s global and mobile workforce. Future enhancements and new features will be fueled by feedback from employees themselves. Northeastern students who are also employees—such as student employees with sponsored accounts and staff members who are also enrolled in classes—have access to both the Student Hub and Employee Hub.
